The joy of popular musical theatre
Green Parrot Productions - A brief word of introduction
Green Parrot Musical Productions is a brand new ASBL, set up by experienced players on the Brussels amateur theatre scene to bring adults and children of all ages to the world of theatre; in particular, to the magic of musicals. The formal statutes and constitution of Green Parrot have been registered and published in the "Moniteur Belge".
Many theatre-goers in Brussels will have no trouble remembering the spectacular musicals produced and directed by the people who have just founded Green Parrot Productions. Shows such as Kismet in 2003, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in 2004, and Oliver! in 2006.
Green Parrot is dedicated to producing musical shows that are fun to do, and a real spectacle to come and see. We aim to attract grown-ups and chldren of all ages: to perform on stage, to help behind the scenes, and of course to come and see the result.
There is a huge demand for family entertainment in the Brussels region. Modern musicals are really accessible and as a result, our audiences are drawn from all sectors of the community.
Green Parrot Productions is registered in Belgium as a "not for profit" organisation. Any money we make is ploughed straight back into the next show and any surplus donated to a children's charity.
